Sixty years experience (Dad bought Ken his first registered cow when he was 3 years old.) in feeding (feed, animal health, and livestock equipment sales), breeding (from Holsteins, Angus, Chianina, and even Thoroughbreds), and the meat packing industry (Ken was instrumental in Farmland Industries becoming one of the four major beef packers in the world).
Ken has also been a fieldman for a large farm supply cooperative and has been involved in crop and grass production. He took over 2,500 soil samples to the KSU Soils lab in a 5 year period, etc. He has a B.S. from K-State in Animal Science, grad of National Institute of Meat Packing at Chicago, has taught college level animal nutrition courses, and has a "PhD from Sale Barn University." Order buyer, cattle dealer, race horse trainer and dealer (claimed several horses out of claiming races), real estate developer and successful Texas Longhorn breeder and judge.
